In
conjunction with the Dutch Design Port exhibition, Vivid Gallery
Rotterdam organizes a roundtable with renowned Dutch designers
Wieki Somers, Joris Laarman, and Bertjan Pot. Wieki Somers (1976)
graduated from the Design Academy Eindhoven in 2000. She established
Studio Wieki Somers in which she collaborates with Dylan van
den Berg. Joris Laarman (1979) graduated from the Design Academy
Eindhoven in 2003. One year later he established Joris Laarman
Laboratory, a studio for 'innovation, aesthetics, curiosity,
freedom and more.' Bertjan Pot (1975) graduated from the Design
Academy Eindhoven in 1998. He gained international recognition
for his lamps and chairs, but also designed sand ashtrays and
a bedcover woven from three different color seatbelts.
